Price: €100 per child for 6 weeks / €80 each for siblings

Join local artist Aileen Hamilton for six weeks of playful, expressive art making, where curiosity and imagination is celebrated. Through a range of materials, techniques and hands-on activities, children will be encouraged to explore, experiment and discover their own unique ways of making art.

These workshops focus on the creative process, rather than a fixed outcome — giving young artists the freedom to look closely, ask questions, investigate ideas and respond through making. With time and space to observe, play and explore, children will build confidence as they experiment with colour, texture, mark-making and mixed media, embracing the limitless possibilities of artistic self-expression.

Each session invites children to enjoy the adventure of making, where every discovery is valued and every artistic process tells its own story.

Aileen Hamilton is a visual artist and art educator. Alongside her own studio practice which spans drawing, painting, sculpture and installation, she has taught art in schools, community settings and artist-led contexts in Ireland and Spain, working with children, teenagers and adults. As an exhibiting artist, Aileen brings her experience of creative practice into her courses, creating a welcoming and supportive environment, while providing time and space to explore, experiment and build confidence in the creative process.
