"The Goonies" are Mickey, Chunk, Mouth and Data, a band of young rascals soon to be separated when their homes are pulled down to make way for a new country club. They are joined by two girls and Mickey's big brother for one final adventure. An adventure that begins when Mickey finds a map that shows the whereabouts of a pirate treasure ship in a hidden subterranean lagoon. A local eccentric, Chester Copperpot is said to have gone in search of the trove and never returned... Suitably daunted the gang wearily begin their fairy tale treasure hunt, a quest that turns into an unstoppable ride through a cascade of underground stunts, dangers around every corner, hazards at every footstep and the magical hope for dreams come true at the end of the labyrinth.
