Meath Made, County Meath’s creative collective, is thrilled to have its inaugural Christmas craft fair, “Creates at Christmas,” in the Swift. This festive fair will take place from the evening of Friday, November 28th to Sunday, November 30th.
“Creates at Christmas” offers a fantastic opportunity to shop for local, handmade products crafted or designed in the Royal County. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with live music, mulled wine and mince pies. Ballivor Community Gospel choir will sing at the opening on Friday evening and Jennifer Leahy harpist will play on the Saturday. The Swift Cultural Centre will be beautifully decorated by a professional stylist, creating a magical ambience perfect for holiday shopping.
“Creates at Christmas” not only promotes sustainable shopping but also fosters a meaningful connection between shoppers and local makers. Visitors will have the chance to engage with artisans, learn about their craft processes, and discover personalised gifts for their loved ones.
This craft fair is designed for anyone wishing to escape the over-commercialisation of Christmas while shopping sustainably. Meath Made aim to create a sensory experience that includes beautiful music, the scent of natural pine decorations, and the taste of delicious mice pies.
