Púca – Dark Side of the Silvery Moon

By the Light of the Silvery Moon is a lively and immersive three-person storytelling performance featuring renowned storyteller Aindrias de Staic, acclaimed harpist Aisling Lyons and percussionist Brian Fleming. Blending Irish folklore, mythology, music and humour, the show brings Ireland’s rich storytelling tradition vividly to life through Aindrias’ fast-paced, irreverent storytelling and a powerful live musical soundscape.

During Samhain, the Silvery Moon becomes a little darker, transforming into Dark Side of the Silvery Moon, with a number of specially selected spooky and supernatural stories woven into the performance. Drawing on Ireland’s ancient traditions, otherworldly folklore and the mysterious spirit of Samhain, this version is particularly suited to the atmosphere and heritage of Púca Festival.

It is an exhilarating celebration of Irish story, music, myth and mischief, offering audiences an entertaining and atmospheric experience that feels both deeply rooted in tradition and entirely contemporary.
