Like birds, we migrate. We move through the world on foot, in vehicles, even in the air. We leave home for a few hours, a few weeks, or forever. We go because we want to, or because we must.
A new dance-theatre show designed for school audiences, TILT explores what journeys of leaving home look like in our bodies.
When we tilt, do we fall or fly? Where is home, and how will we know when we get there? This new dance theatre show by experienced Brazilian choreographer Selma Daniel features original music by Denis Clohessy and hand-drawn animation by Carlos Mateus.
Funded by the Arts Council and supported by Meath County Council Arts Office and Creative Ireland through the Professional Artist Development Fund, in partnership with Swift Cultural Centre.
