Trim Mid-Summer Jazz Weekend: ZASKA

As part of the Trim Mid-Summer Jazz Weekend, we’re thrilled to welcome ZASKA to Swift. 

Led by guitarist, songwriter, and producer Max Zaska, the band brings a distinctive blend of modern soul and indie jazz, shaped by influences such as Silk Sonic, Snarky Puppy, Tom Misch, and Nubiyan Twist.

With a guitar style inspired by legends including Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, Nile Rodgers, and Carlos Santana, ZASKA crafts a sound that is both rich and unmistakably their own.

Known for collaborations with leading Irish vocalists, including Hozier, their music combines technical brilliance with infectious groove.

ZASKA’s high-energy live performances have earned praise as “masterful,” “incomparable,” and “joyous,” captivating audiences from Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London to international festivals such as Mladí ladí Jazz in Prague and the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.
